The Finnish National Team which represents FINLAND in international cricket matches is governed by Finland Cricket Association (FCA). Cricket was initially introduced to Finland in the 1960s , however it was only in the year 1999 ,when Finland Cricket Association was formed. Helsinki Cricket Club, the first-ever cricket club of FINLAND, established in the early 1970's sets a trend of formal cricket in Finland.
Cricket Finland is an affiliate member of
International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2000. Finland won the European Cricket Championship(DIV-4) in the year 2006. Cricket is gradually getting popular in Finland.
The Current Finnish National team is led by Zahidullah Nicky Kamal.
