E8848- SevenZer Cup 2014 indeed was a great success. A total of 9 teams participated in the SevenZer League. Tampere CC claimed the title while Friends United settled to be Runner up . The tournament was a one day event played with Hard-Tennis Ball , each innings of 7 overs and 7 players. The event was divided into three groups playing 2 games each. Winners from each 3group promoted to semifinals. The 4th entry was from the loosing team with highest NRR, Friends United entered as a 4th team and managed to remain runner up . Majority of the clubs had Nepalese origin cricketer .Cric-Hunters Koivukyla ,a team of Indians ,managed to grab FairPlay Award of the tournament.

Everest-8848( E8848), A Nepalese base registered cricket club in Finland, is introducing a 7 overs -7players tournament with its own rules and regulations. The tournament's profit goes to club fund.

5. LBW , 1st warning, 2nd - out.
6. Umpire explains further rules on game day.
Note: If weather iterrupts the whole tournament, it will be shifted to another viable day. Besides that , In any other interruption , the tournament will be shifted to 20 sept, 2014.
Participation should be conformed before 31st august. Hurry up and secure your place as maximum 9 teams are allowed.

Despite of a great fielding effort and a good batting start , E8848 lost the second game in a row. Vantaa Super Kings(VSK) won the toss and elected to bat. E8848 were good in the field. A few catches were dropped on the field, however E8848 restricted VSK for 122 runs grabbing 10 wickets in 19.4 overs.
Jamal(VSK) contributed 33 runs of 29 balls including 4 boundaries and a sixer. Suman bhadel Shrestha from E8848 grabbed 4 wickets in 4 overs giving 29 runs. Krishna kc took 3 wickets in 4 overs giving 22 runs. Ayush, Deepak and Rohit managed to grab 1 wicket each.
E8848 maximized the first 16 overs of the second innings. E8848 were closer to victory at one point, just needed 27 from 24 balls. A quick collapse of the mid order batsmen resulted in a loss.
Prabuddha 22(25), Sushil37(45) and Udeep29(20) were the only batsmen to reach double score. Udeep and Sushil contributed a much needed 52 runs partnership.
E8848 couldn’t hold the innings through last 3 overs. Mohammad raj excelled with a superb bowling conceding 15 runs and 3 wickets in 4 overs. Farhan Haseeb too supported him with a superb spell of 4 overs giving 25 runs and 3 wickets.
